Alan Saipe
Alan Saipe, MASc, PhD, is President of Supply Chain Surveys Inc. and has been involved with supply chain and logistics management for most of his working career – as a consultant, an educator and a line manager. As director of operations at Connaught Laboratories Limited he right-sized the company’s insulin inventory. As an educator he has taught logistics and inventory management in MBA, executive MBA and in executive education programs. And as a consultant he has worked with dozens of clients to improve and optimize their distribution inventories. Alan has also had a long affiliation with Supply Chain & Logistics Canada. He is a past chairman of the SCL, having been on its National Board of Directors for nine years.
