Gerry has 30 years of sales, marketing and management experience in the consumer packaged and durable goods industry in Canada – all channels, all major Canadian retailers and distributors. He has been vice-president of Sales and business development for Garant GP, Canada’s largest and most successful manufacturer and distributor of manual lawn, garden, maintenance and construction tools, for the past 13 years. Garant is recognized in the industry as a leading new product innovation company with over 15 per cent of annual sales continually coming from new products introduced within the past three years. Gerry is responsible for all training and development of sales and marketing personnel. He is also president of Goto Market Solutions, specializing in new business and new product development in Canada for non-Canadian vendors, and a board member of the Canadian Hardware & Housewares Manufacturers Association.
