David Barrett
David Barrett is the President of Solutions Network Ltd., Group Conference Director with Diversified Business Communications Canada and Program Director at The Schulich Executive Education Centre, Schulich School of Business, York University.
In his role with Solutions Network he is primarily the Program Director for the Project Management Centre of Excellence and the Co-Program Director for Business Analysis Centre of Excellence both at Schulich Executive Education Centre.
In his role with Diversified Business Communications Canada he is the Group Conference Director for the project management and business analysis events portfolio. Select Professional tab for access to these sites.

Beverley Fingerhut
As co-director of the Schulich Executive Education Centre’s Masters Certificate in Business Analysis program since 2002, Beverley is responsible for developing the curriculum, marketing and managing the overall program, and ensuring the excellence of the instruction and content.
Beverley has 30 years of experience in strategic planning, communication, business analysis, facilitation, training and change management in a range of sectors. Beverley has worked extensively with senior management, project managers and business analysts in Fortune 500 companies. She has presented numerous papers on linking business and technology at various conferences such as the Association for System Managers, the PC Windows Conference and the Learned Society Conferences.
Beverley is a founding member of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), past member of the IIBA review committee for Education and Certification, and on the advisory board of the Business Analyst World Conference.

Patrick van Abbema
Patrick has more than 20 years of progressive accomplishments in competitive digital media, Web collaboration and Enterprise/SaaS software markets. Patrick is the Senior Project Advisor and Chief Business Analyst for AltNexus Corp. and provides consulting expertise on enterprise service strategies for various public and private sector clients across the USA, Canada and Europe. He is responsible for analyzing the business needs of his clients and acts as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems.
Patrick is a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), and Certified Project Management Professional (PMP®). Patrick has a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s Certificate in Business Analysis, from the Sprott School of Business, Carleton University. Patrick's experience and credentials allows him to bring the unique skills and knowledge areas required for both PM and BA disciplines to the table - ensuring that the product will be on time, on budget and most importantly, on requirements.

Ron Babin
Ron Babin is a gifted instructor with a passion for Information Technology, at the Schulich Executive Education Centre. Ron has a BA in computer science, an MBA and he’s also a Certified Management Consultant. Formerly a full-time management consultant as an IT Strategist for Accenture and KPMG, Ron brings real-world experience and an in-depth knowledge of managing logistics. His current passions lie within IT planning, IT governance with a more specific focus on IT outsourcing and off-shore delivery.

Christine Beaulieu
Christine Beaulieu is an experienced information technology executive with more than twenty years of expertise in the management of large I.T. departments and in the implementation and management of information systems. Her career has been largely focused on project management and communication for large companies in Québec. As an Vice-President of Information Technology she had been responsible for several major projects. Known for her management skills, she is particularly adept at using a managerial approach that rallies teams around projects of different size and scope. Here at the Schulich School of Business, York University, she is known by participants as an educator that specializes in human aspects and communication.

An award-winning communication specialist with more than 20 years experience, Lesa develops communications for product and program launches, system rollouts and corporate change initiatives. Lesa is known for her skill in synthesizing and communicating complex information clearly and persuasively, and for her ability to coach and teach others. A graduate of the Masters Certificate in Business Analysis from the Schulich Executive Education Centre, York University. Ken has worked as a business analyst and project manager for more than 15 years. In that time, he has worked on a wide variety of client projects. He has experience working with public sector, private sector, government and non-profit organizations. While dealing with these different types of organizations, he has specialized in systems improvements, systems integration, CRM software deployment, system modeling and training. Ken has served in the Canadian Armed Forces.

Doug is the program director, Western Canada for the Masters Certificate in Project Management program. He is also senior vice-president and program director, Western Canada for Atocrates and president of Lobstick Project Solutions Inc. Doug is an award winning trainer, coach and consultant. His background includes hands-on experience in projects such as construction, community development, procurement, business development and plant turnarounds. Bud Lush, MSc, PhD, FRCPM, CLP, is co-founder, chair & chief technical officer of Atocrates Project Sciences. He is a perennial award-winning international consultant/instructor. He has more than 35 years direct working and teaching experience in integrated systems program management, corporate-enterprise wide project management, new product development initiatives, battle management (BM / C4ISR) systems. Bud has designed project management processes and control systems in many sectors including automotive, petroleum, aerospace and defense involving technologies such as robotics and automated guided vehicles (AGV’s). Bud is the creator of Canada’s first Masters Certificate in Systems Engineering in compliance with the INCOSE® standard and a founding faculty member, primary technical content producer including the master certificate simulation case studies of the Centres of Excellence in Project Management and Business Analysis at the Schulich Executive Education Centre, York University.

Debbie Showler, Dip HR, MCBA, is chief business analyst and a multiple award-winning instructor for Atocrates Project Sciences. She has more than 15 years’ experience in the project environment primarily within the heavy manufacturing business sector, performing as project manager, advanced business analyst and business process manager. Debbie is sought out as a subject matter expert leading strategic development, execution and operational optimization across the enterprise. She specializes in customer relationship management, creativity and innovation, quality processes and marketing communications. Debbie is a Certified Master Trainer in the Buzan Mind Mapping process and contributed her mapping diagramming to her colleague Jamie Nast's first book Idea Mapping: How to Access Your Hidden Brain Power, Learn Faster, Remember More, and Achieve Success in Business (John Wiley & Sons - 2006). In 2012, she received the ultimate Schulich Executive Education Centre prize, the prestigious Peter Zarry Memorial Award for the best overall performance, nationally.
