Theodore Peridis

Dr. Theodore Peridis is a professor of Strategic Management and International Business at the Schulich School of Business, York University, in Toronto, Canada and Director of the York Consulting Group.  Theo has taught Strategic Management at the graduate and executive education levels at universities in Europe, North America and the Middle East. He has published numerous articles and given presentations at academic and professional associations on the subjects of corporate strategy, management of technology based firms, management of the planning process, and management of collaboration and competition.

Dr. Peridis has worked with many companies in North America and overseas as an advisor on strategic management issues. He has frequently acted as a special consultant to firms in Canada, the US, Europe, and the Middle East on structuring and managing their acquisitions and strategic alliances. Companies he has worked with range from major corporations such as General Electric, DuPont, Bayer, Bombardier, Bell Canada, and Ontario Hydro to small high-tech firms such as Microbix, Omnishop, Qualitau, and Selector. He has also participated in government advisory committees and subcommittees on industrial policy and competitiveness in health and technology.
