Since our founding in 1990, UVic Business has been dedicated to providing business education that is non-traditional in its approach, creative in its application, and unique in its perspective. We embrace a culture of change, and seek to develop and inspire global business leaders. Our people are educators, visionaries, and leaders committed to building a better society through better business.
The mission of the Faculty of Business is to "develop Canadian business leaders with the management knowledge, skills and values necessary to work efficiently and responsibly in a changing global economy." To that end, the faculty, staff and students work together to promote professionalism and integrity in all our graduates -- attributes that will prepare our students for real roles of leadership and accomplishment, and make them stand out among business school graduates.
UVic Business celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2010. Although a comparatively young business school, it has established itself as a national and international leader in its educational approach and in its areas of specialization and has received a number of very coveted awards.
