One of the reasons SEEC has been able to take the lead in the conversion of in-class programs to virtual classroom delivery in response to the challenges imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic is the experience and knowledge gained before the health emergency with the development of our self-paced e+ online programs.
In designing our e+ online programs, we consulted extensively with past course attendees, program instructors and instructional design experts to ensure we developed the most effective online learning possible. Our e+ online programs deliver the comprehensive core material needed to quickly master the topic at hand, and give students the flexibility to learn at their own pace from the convenience of home or office, at times that suit them.
Rather than taking place face-to-face in the virtual classroom, our e+ online programs consist of five or six learning modules released weekly. The modules consist of pre-recorded instructional videos, interactive quizzes with customized feedback to assess your learning progress, case studies and mini-projects to enrich your learning, all accessed through a convenient centralized learning management portal.
They also provide the opportunity to learn and work collaboratively with peers and instructors through guided and free form discussions and interchanges. The continuous instructor interaction and peer networking bring an added dimension, enriching your experience in the same ways our in class programs do. The result is the most effective way for participants to learn and apply the concepts to their real world challenges.

The program received an honourable mention in the Academic Division’s E-Learning category in a ceremony held online Sept. 12. The International E Learning Awards recognize the best uses of technology to improve learning and job performance within companies or through individual professional development.
