Schulich ExecEd teams with Hockey Canada and Trisura for Legends Day

Trisura Guarantee Insurance Company, the Hockey Canada Foundation and the Schulich ExecEd joined forces to create a successful event held May 3, titled “Trisura Legends Day”. It was the first full-day broker education and training session hosted by Trisura at the Hockey Hall of Fame.

The inspirational one-day event brought together the Canadian insurance industry’s most promising brokers in search of crucial insights, inspiration and skills. They were invited to assemble at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto to discover unconventional strategies to ensure the future success of the broker channel and learn “how to become the best version of yourself”.

The link-up for the event included one of Schulich ExecEd’s most popular speakers, Jeff MacInnis, whose talk in the “first period” on WIN Thinking inspired his audience as it has for many Schulich ExecEd groups over the years. Schulich ExecEd facilitator Jim Harris, a world-renowned speaker on disruptive innovation and an instructor in Schulich ExecEd programs on sales and innovation, gave the “second period” keynote speech. The Hockey Canada Foundation’s Cassie Campbell-Pascall, former captain of Team Canada’s women’s team, spoke in the third period on teamwork and leadership in challenging times.

The schedule program was followed by free time for the brokers among the Hockey Hall of Fame exhibits and a cocktail reception.
