“TD collaborated with SEEC to create and deliver the PMI Boot Camp. This one-of-a-kind program is an industry first and unique to TD Bank. SEEC was instrumental in helping develop the curriculum, which has become known for its tailored content, engaging subject matter experts, and strong facilitation. In two years since its inception, PMI Boot Camp has been in high demand. I highly recommend SEEC to anyone looking to create a high value executive learning and development program within their organization.”
Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with more than 85,000 employees in offices around the world, The Toronto Dominion Bank and its subsidiaries are collectively known as TD Bank Group (TD). TD offers a full range of financial products and services to approximately 22 million customers worldwide.
To support the TD Product Management Institute’s (PMI) mandate to develop and share internal best practices in the disciplines of product management, and to accelerate the development of high performing individuals and teams in the product management area, TD has successfully partnered with the Schulich Executive Education Centre (SEEC), Schulich School of Business, York University, in the design and delivery of the PMI Boot Camp. Product management as a business discipline is increasingly important to financial services organizations in ensuring they simultaneously meet increasingly demanding and complex customer expectations and ensure sustainable profitability for multiple product lines and delivery systems. In discussions with SEEC, TD determined that the need to support the development of a common language in product management as well as develop new and experienced leaders in the field, could be achieved through the delivery of a high-profile learning intervention in partnership with SEEC.
TD PMI Boot Camp, developed jointly with SEEC, is an intensive five day executive level and highly experiental program which continues to evolve. It utilizes best in class internal subject matter experts and exemplars, case studies and simulations, group discussion and leading Schulich and Kellogg faculty to challenge the organization’s best and brightest to catalyze both their own career development.
