Your How-To Guide
For Leadership Under Union Laws

Managing unionized employees is trickier than ever. Constantly evolving collective agreements, labour laws, human rights codes, and grievance and disciplinary procedures make establishing and maintaining cohesive, trusting, and motivated workforces a never-ending challenge. Not an impossible one, though.

In this 2-day program, navigate this difficult territory with up-to-date labour relations knowledge, proven leadership approaches to improving workplace relations, and best practices for making smart and impactful human resources and management decisions.

Traverse through integral union topics like management-union relationships and managing collective agreements within the guidelines of key legislative bodies.

Participants also receive post-program guidance, receiving a pragmatic workbook with over a dozen forms to set up a formal performance improvement program with unionized staff and Instructor Cy Charney’s bestselling book about leadership, Just-in-Time Management.
