Technical Requirements for e+ learning programs

SEEC e+ programs are accessed through a web browser over the Internet using the ZOOM video-conferencing platform, which requires a small client app download. Instructors also may use the web-based Canvas course platform. No download is required and instructions on how to use Canvas will be supplied.
Participants will need the following:

  • A desktop or laptop computer that runs on Windows 10 or the latest Mac OSX with up-to-date virus protection software. Some older OS may work but could limit access to some features.
  • A web browser, such as Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari. You may need to upgrade your browser to the latest version to access some online learning tools
  • High-speed broadband access (cable/fibreoptic or DSL) is highly recommended
  • Headphones/headset or a speaker and microphone for in-class conversations and meetings with your facilitator(s)
  • A Webcam

Mobile Devices

Mobile devices such as a smartphone or tablet may be used but could limit the extent to which you can participate in some courses.
